  1. Understand the role of the oral healthcare provider in the identification, assessment, and management of dental patients with suspected/established eating disorders.

  2. Describe eating disorders, including eating disorder types and who gets eating disorders.

  3. Recognize signs and symptoms of eating disorders relevant to dental practice.

  4. Gain skills and confidence in the communication and assessment of patients with suspected/established eating disorders in dental practice.

  5. Understand the options available to oral healthcare providers to connect patients to further care.
