- Understand the role of the oral healthcare provider in the identification, assessment, and management of dental patients with suspected/established eating disorders.
- Describe eating disorders, including eating disorder types and who gets eating disorders.
- Recognize signs and symptoms of eating disorders relevant to dental practice.
- Gain skills and confidence in the communication and assessment of patients with suspected/established eating disorders in dental practice.
- Understand the options available to oral healthcare providers to connect patients to further care.
